Cave Painting

We enjoyed stepping back in time and pretending we were Stone Age artists painting inside caves. To help us imagine what this might have been like, we turned our tables on their sides to create cave walls and painted onto sandpaper to give a rough, rocky texture. Using earthy tones such as browns, reds and ochres, we recreated the natural colours that Stone Age people would have made from materials found in nature. It was a fun and creative way to bring our learning to life!
