Have a lovely weekend - one week to go! :)

24.10.25

Your homework this week consists of a comprehension task and a maths activity, which involves multiplying fractions by whole numbers. A parent sheet has been attached to support the learning of your child.

In addition to this, I have given out extension maths activities to the children who wanted an extra challenge.

You will also notice a QR code attached to the homework sheet. The children (I am sure) have already mentioned a learning app called IDL. This will support the learning of all the children and will be set to their level of attainment i.e. each activity will become progressively hard as they progress to each stage. I really recommend all the children completing some activities from IDL over the half term break.

If they would like to access IDL at home, they can download the IDL app for free and use the QR to log into their account. They should focus on completing activities from the, 'numeracy by strand' section of the app.

And finally... have a wonderful half term! I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching you this half term and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Stay safe,

Mrs Bracknell x
