The gates are opened at 8.40 am each day. They are closed at 8.55am. If your child arrives after 8.55 they should enter through the main office entrance. They will be recorded as late on the daily register. 

If your child is too ill to attend school, or there is another reason why they will be late or absent, please contact the school as soon as possible by phone, 01702 293522, or email office@st-georges.southend.sch.uk

If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they can only return to school 48 hours after their last bout of stomach upset. This is inline with NHS guidance.

We encourage good attendance and discourage leave in term time but if you feel you must take your child out during term please read and complete the form below.
