Happy Easter! I hope you all have a wonderful and restful break.

All the resources for SATs practice are now on our class page. I have also placed the year 5&6 statutory spellings on spelling shed, for you to practice. If you do not have a log in, they will be available after the Easter holiday.

Next week, we will be finishing off our final filtration systems for the science fair. Please bring in additional materials to help with your designs, ready for Thursday!

For maths, please complete 'mixed assessment 5' on mymaths. These are SATs style questions. please complete the ones you can do. For English, please complete the SPaG question sheet which will be sent home.

Bikeability will take place on Monday and Tuesday next week. Remember to wear sensible clothes, rucksack/drawstring bag and be prepared for all weathers!

For homework, please complete the maths worksheet and the SPaG questions. They will be sent home with you today.

Science week 2023!

We will be celebrating science week from Tuesday 14th March. In order to take part in this year's class STEM challenge can you try and bring in the following items:

• large plastic bottle
• scrap material i.e. old t-shirt, old school shirt, tights, dish cloth etc... (they will be cut up)
• a collection of small stones, rocks, gravel

Please continue to read daily and review the spelling list. For maths, can you complete the reasoning questions (assessment 3) on mymaths. For English, you will complete a comprehension. This will be on paper and sent home today.

Please complete the arithmetic questions and SPaG mat (choose one side to do only). If you cannot do a question, please leave it blank and we will go through the homework as a class next week.
