St Anthony

History / Design and Technology - This term we have been learning all about the Victorians, a big focus has been to compare toys of the Victorian age and those of today. We have been designing our own peg dolls, a very popular toy during Queen Victoria's reign. Here we are creating and designing, cutting and using a glue gun; a new experience for many of the children. We have displayed our finished products in our classroom for you to see at next week's Open Afternoon (Monday 20th March)

Design and Technology: Baking Biscuits - March 2023

Year 5's Space Challenge Day was lots of fun and full of STEM learning. We had to design, create, test and improve our rockets. We were tasked with designing and building a rocket that could be launched using straws. We then tested the affects of changing launch angles and payloads.

Pancake Day 2023 We had great fun measuring, mixing, flipping and of course eating our delicious pancakes, Lots of fun and most of us managed to flip rather than see the pancakes fall!

Christmas Jumper Day 2022. Don't we look fabulous?!!! We also enjoyed our special Christmas lunches.

This week in our Music lesson, we have been collaborating in small teams to compose a piece for Ukuleles. We planned the notation, timing and lyrics and then performed to our class friends.
