Today the children said we had 'the best day ever!' We used our skills in direction to find the maze, do some bark rubbing, spot wildlife and enjoy the play area. We had a fantastic time!

Our Sensational Sealife Centre Trip!

In our year one assembly we told the story of Jesus' ascension and Pentecost. We wanted to share the joy of the story and love of Jesus to everyone. We want to be kind and loving and spread the good news.

The King's Coronation Celebration! The children made some amazing crowns and wore fantastic costumes to celebrate this historic occasion. Well done everyone for all the super effort!

Science Week! We have been looking at connections in our science week. Year One have been looking at recycling and how we can recycle and keep our world clean. We made planters and sensory bottles out of plastic bottles to reuse them. We think they look fab! We have planted seeds in them and have been looking after them and are looking forward to seeing them grow.

We went on a litter pick to Shoebury Park to look after our local area and keep our world clean. We were disappointed that we collected so much rubbish! It has helped us to think about how long it takes for rubbish to decompose and how we need to reduce, reuse and recycle.

What fun we had with pancakes! We wrote instructions on how to make them, mixed up the batter, added toppings, flipped them and ate them! Thank you to our wonderful helpers. We had great fun!

We looked at, felt, smelt and tasted oranges. We thought about as many describing words as we could to create an interesting word bank.

We have been working hard on our addition and subtraction this week!

Mrs McLoughlin found a postcard in the carpark but we didn't know who it was from or how it got there! We studied it closely to find all the clues so that we could have a good guess and explain our reasons as to who it was.

Christmas Lunch and Jumper Day!

Prickly Hay! Year 1 and 2 put on a spectacular nativity. They all shone like super stars!
