We have been learning about the story of Noah and his Ark. We retold the story in our R.E books then we designed crosses using the symbols from the story.

Recycling art project to display our Promises to God on
We learnt that God made a covenant (promise) with Noah to save all living things and after the flood, God promised never to flood the world again. We wrote promises to God to show ways to look after the world and take care of the people and animals on it. We promised to take care of God’s Earth by recycling. We collected old cereal packets and newspaper for an art project on our display boards
The Hungry Cupboard - SVP Food bank
We promised to take care of other people, so we collected food and toiletries for the SVP charity
Our bird feeders to take care of God's creatures.
We promised to help look after God’s animals, so we made bird feeders to hang outside our classroom.
Our nature walk to Shoebury Park to appreciate God's beautiful creations.
We wanted to connect with God's world and reflect on it's beauty, so we went on a nature walk to Shoebury Park and looked at God's beautiful creations such as acorns, trees, the lake, blackberries, autumn leaves, flowers, clouds, ducks, cormorants and pine cones.
