This month’s Artist of the Month is Edison from St Joseph’s class. He was chosen for his amazing jungle painting based on the work by Henri Rousseau. He used his colour mixing skills to make green leaves by only using the colours blue and green! He also made different tones of green by adding different amounts of white and black. Edison was also very skilful in capturing the detail of the veins in his leaves by using the wooden end of a paintbrush to scratch through the layers of paint. Well done Edison!
