We are pleased to share the news that our school has been rated ‘Good’, at a time when the benchmark for ‘Good’ is at the highest level it has ever been. Furthermore, three out of the five areas have been rated as ‘Outstanding’, that is, the inspectors felt that our provision for the children is exceptional. These areas are: behaviour and attitudes, personal development and early years.

The staff, governors and trust are thrilled that Ofsted has recognised what a special and friendly place St George’s is and how our children flourish and achieve well. They noticed that the children are happy in school and feel safe in the nurturing environment that staff have created.

They also identified how leaders have designed an ambitious curriculum which enables all children to take part in carefully considered enrichment experiences so that every individual is successful as they move through the school and well prepared for their next stage of their education.
