• Poppies

  Children in St Elizabeth Class have created clay poppies this week, which will form part of a poppy fountain sculpture in the Rose Garden on Southend Seafront. There are 24 other local schools involved in the sculpture which will result in around  5000 poppies. The Festival of Remembrance will run from Thursday 9^th – Saturday 11^th November.  St Elizabeth’s class hope to visit the Festival on the Thursday 9th. 

  

• European Day of Languages

  Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends who came to help us celebrate European Day of Languages on Tuesday. With your help our children had a fascinating morning learning about Spain, Holland, Russia, Wales, Portugal, Slovakia, Poland and Italy!

• Liturgy Team

  At this afternoon's assembly we announced our Liturgy Team for 2017-2018. Responsible for helping at assemblies, Masses and with the spiritual life of the school this year's team are; Louie, Brian, Henry, Rose, Jessica and Andrew. Well done to all of you.
