  We are very pleased to announce the final winner and third finalist for our Bake Off…

  For his amazing M & M KitKat fusion cake, this week’s Star Baker is Mitchell from St Anthony’s class.

  Mitchell will receive a personalised Star Baker apron and now goes through to the Grand Final in July.

  Yet again, with so many amazing cakes, we had to award two more runners-up certificates to: Henry (St Peter’s class) for his amazing fresh cream and fruit gateau and Charles (St Anthony’s class) for his splendid Oreo cupcakes. Well done to both of you!

  Today Year 5 & 6 are rising to the Bake Off challenge. Their delicious looking cakes are ready to be sampled by our experienced judges. As usual, the Star Baker will be announced on Friday but it looks like a very difficult decision!

  Congratulations to our Star Baker this week, Harry with his very tasty Minion cake. We also had two runners up as it was so difficult to just choose one so congratulations also to Julia for her chocolate cake and Natalia for her baked cheesecake. Well done everybody. • The Great St George's Bake Off Begins

  Today was the start of the Great St George's Bake Off with entries from Year 1 & 2. They all looked and smelt fabulous and we can't wait to start tasting!

• Bikeability Fix

  Today, Year 5 & 6 took part in the Bikeability Fix Workshop.  We have been learning the ABCD of Bicycle Maintenance, including the safety of breaks, cleaning of chains and how to mend a puncture.  We are looking forward to the next stage of improving our bike-riding skills later this half term.  Many thanks to the Cycle Southend Team, it has been a great day.
