• Artist of the Month

  This month’s Artist of the Month is Edison from St Joseph’s class. He was chosen for his amazing jungle painting based on the work by Henri Rousseau. He used his colour mixing skills to make green leaves by only using the colours blue and green! He also made different tones of green by adding different amounts of white and black. Edison was also very skilful in capturing the detail of the veins in his leaves by using the wooden end of a paintbrush to scratch through the layers of paint. Well done Edison!

  A bumper crop of Sports Award winners this week, covering football, netball and cross-country running. Well done also to the winners of Reading Awards and Head Teacher Awards. You are all superstars!

  As always, Celebration Assembly was a lovely end to the week with lots to celebrate. Congratulations to those awarded Reading Cerificates, Sports Awards and Head Teacher's Awards. As Mrs Delgado always says - you are all Superstars!

  Congratulations to Ottilie who was awarded Artist of the Month for her beautiful Easter card. The card was also selected by the parish for the official parish Easter card. Well done Ottilie!

  

• Celebration Assembly

  We had a lot to celebrate in the last Celebration Assembly of the Spring term. As well as Headteacher Awards, lots of children had achieved Gold and Silver Reading Awards for 100 and 150 reads and we also had our first Diamond Reading Awards for 200 reads. Several children received Science Awards for designing amazing posters on the theme of growth. Well done to everyone. You are all Superstars!
