  • Big Garden Birdwatch

    Fri 31 Jan 2020
On Wednesday, St Joseph Class took part in the Big Schools Birdwatch at Shoebury Park.  The RSPB use the Big Garden Birdwatch as ‘Citizen Science’ – this is science by us, the community.  We saw lots of different types of birds in different habitats.  The most popular bird was the starling.  We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to visiting the area again to collect more data in the Spring.
  • School closed

    Mon 27 Jan 2020

Unfortunately we have made the decision to close the school today due to the water problem earlier this morning. The school still has no water and therefore on health and safety grounds we have no choice. We have made this decision early to allow parents to make child care arrangements for the day and cause minimum disruption. We plan to be open as usual tomorrow morning and will confirm this later today. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your support.

  • No water in Shoebury

    Mon 27 Jan 2020
Due to the water issues in Shoebury, there will be a delay to the school day so that we can ensure adequate water to the school and that we have enough staff on site as many have been affected. There will be no breakfast club or sports club before school. We will update at 7.30. Thank you.
