• End of Term Celebration Assembly

  We had a lot to celebrate in assembly this morning. Congratulations to all those who received their Bronze Reading certificate for 50 reads and to the first group receiving their Silver Reading certificate for 100 reads. We also celebrated with the children who were awarded their bronze attendance badges for 100% attendance this term. A special mention to Eliana and Fred who barely had time to sit down as they received their Silver Reading, Bronze attendance, a Head Teacher's Award and were chosen to show their artistic and musical talents.What a way to end the term!

  

• Carol Service

  Thank you to all our Key Stage 2 children who sang so wonderfully in last night's Carol Service. It was a lovely, prayerful way to remember the first Christmas time.

  

• Music Mark

  Hot on the heels of our Sports Award this morning, we have also just received the Music Mark certificate in recognition of a commitment to providing high quality music education for all children and young people. Congratulations to Mrs McLoughlin and our wonderful choir who represented our school musically so well last week at Brentwood Cathedral and local homes for the elderly.

  

• Healthy Schools Award

  We were thrilled to receive our revalidation for the Healthy Schools Award today. Well done to Miss Rusz and the Healthy Schools Council for all their hard work to make this possible.

  

• Christmas performances

• Artist of the Month - December

  It's really starting to feel like Christmas in school now and our December Artist of the month has certainly added to the feeling! Hannah's beautiful Nativity scene is just the thing to remind us of the reason for the season. Well done Hannah!

  

• Prickly Hay

  Tonight was the turn of our fabulous Year 1s and 2s in their play "Prickly Hay" who told us that Christmas was for everyone and we are all important to God! Thank you for helping us get in the Christmas Party mood!
