  Congratulations to St Bernadette’s Class and St Joseph’s Class for the outstanding Easter Productions ‘Good News’ presented yesterday. All the children showed great talents in singing, acting and clear and confident speaking. A great start to our Easter. More photos will be posted on their Class pages.

  

• Help for HARP

  Starting this week, four Year 6 boys are supporting HARP, Southend’s Homeless Charity, by collecting food donations at school. We discussed the wish list that HARP publish on their website and the boys identified three items that could be collected every fortnight from families in the school. The table below shows which donation items the boys are asking for.

   

  19th – 28th March	Water, tinned meat & baked beans
  16th April – 27th April	Fruit squash, tinned vegetables & cup-a-soups
  30th April – 11th May	UHT, tinned meals e.g. curry, chilli etc & microwave rice
  14th – 25th May	Cans/cartons of soft drink, tinned fish & tinned new potatoes
  4th – 14th June	Fruit juice, tinned fruit & multipacks of crisps
  19th – 29th June	Snack chocolate bars, water & curry/Bolognese/chilli sauce

   

  They will collect from the classes daily and we will keep the community updated with how we are doing via the website, Facebook and the newsletter. On behalf of the boys, we thank you in advance for your generosity.
