Artist of the Moonth

Celebration Assembly
Fri 26 Nov 2021There were lots of Superstars at today's assembly including a bumper crowd of Bronze Reading Certificates and the whole of St Joseph Class who won a Headteacher's Award for their fabulous assembly. The sports award went to Oliver for his outstanding sportsmanship during the football tournament last week. Congratulations to all!

One Kind Word
Fri 19 Nov 2021At St George's we value the importance of kindness, whether that's us being kind to people ourselves or receiving kindness from others. In Year 5, to end this Anti-Bullying Week, we were thinking about how we can share our kindness through words – One Kind Word is a theme for the week this year. We have decorated the playground with some of the words that made us smile on receiving compliments from our class friends.

Children In Need 2021
Fri 19 Nov 2021There were lots of very colourful outfits in school today as everyone wore what they wanted to raise money fo Pudsey! So far we have raised £281 for Children in Need but the link is still open if you still want to donate.

Odd Socks Day
Tue 16 Nov 2021It was wonderful to see so many children and staff wearing their odd socks yesterday to start Anti-Bulling Week 2021. The day started with assembly when the children were introduced to the theme of the week which is One Kind Word. Throughout the week all classes will attend a workshop with Mrs Delgado focusing on RESPECT. They will be looking at what it means and how we respect towards each other in our daily lives.
