• Remembrance Assembly

  This morning we welcomed the families of the children in St Peter's Class into school as the children led a thoughtful and moving act of Remembrance. It was wonderful to see so many families again especially for such a special occasion. The class then repeated the assembly for the whole school in time to observe the silence at 11:00. Thank you St Peter's Class.

  

• Artist of the Month

  The Artist of the Month this month is Nate from St Peter’s Class for his poppy artwork. The children have been learning about Remembrance Day and the symbolism of the poppy. Nate used oil pastels to create his version of a piece of artwork, originally by Georgia O’Keeffe. He used different tones of red and orange to create the folds in the beautiful poppy petals. Well done Nate!
